La Vieja restaurant is born from the pursuit of a dream that has been cooking slowly for years in the creative universe of chef Jonay Hernández, trying to merge Canarian and Mediterranean cuisines. The project has been slowly built, step by step. From the gastronomic offer to the interiors, the venue’s distribution and the greatest care in all its graphic and aesthetic details.
When the project came to my hands the guidelines were that all the representative elements of the Canary Islands should be included, making special emphasis on “la vieja,” an endemic fish of the islands.
As a graphic designer these branding and illustration projects are fascinating, especially since there is no creative limitation.
